A hammock shaped like a crescent moon. The frame is pale laser-cut wood, curved into a moon with decorative cut-out arcs through the body, and a soft canvas sling hangs inside the crescent for your cat to settle into. It fixes flat to the wall, so the sling sits clear of the floor. Of everything in the range this is the piece people notice first, an object on the wall whether or not the cat is in it.

Fitting and weight guidance
- In the box: the piece, mounting screws and a fitting diagram. Wall plugs for your wall type are not included.
- Solid walls (brick or block): drill 6mm, fit standard wall plugs, drive the included screws through every hole in the wall plate.
- Plasterboard: screw into a timber stud wherever you can (use a stud finder). Where there is no stud behind the fixing, use heavy-duty plasterboard anchors rated to 15kg or more per fixing, such as metal self-drill or toggle anchors.
- Weight: designed for adult domestic cats, typically 3 to 6kg. For cats over 7kg, or for any piece a cat will land on from a jump, fix into a stud or masonry rather than plasterboard alone.
- Use a spirit level, and check every fixing is tight before the first climb.
Will it fit?
- Your wall: check the width along the wall and how far the piece sticks out (under Specifications) against the clear space you have.
- Spacing: about 30cm between steps suits most adult cats; go closer for kittens and older cats.
- Wall type: 6mm plugs for brick or block, a stud or heavy-duty anchors for plasterboard.
- Your cat: designed for adult cats of 3 to 6kg; over 7kg, fix into a stud or masonry.

A moon to curl up in
The canvas sling hangs inside the crescent, so it gives as your cat settles and holds them in the curve. It is a bed first and a talking point second.
The piece people notice
The moon shape and the cut-out arcs make it read as wall decor rather than pet kit. A Castle Catalogue favourite for rooms where the furniture has to earn its place.
Cut wood, soft canvas
The crescent is cut from pale wood with decorative arcs through the body, and the canvas sling is strung inside it. Two materials, nothing else.

Made to live with, not just look at.
Every piece in the Castle Catalogue range is chosen for how it behaves in a real room. Honest materials, quiet colour and shapes that still work when the seasons change.
We keep the range tight on purpose, so you are choosing between a few good options rather than scrolling through thousands.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the sling made of?
Soft canvas, hung inside the crescent frame. It gives under your cat's weight and takes their shape rather than staying flat.
Is it a bed or a climbing frame?
A bed. The canvas sling inside the moon is somewhere to settle, not a route to climb. Pair it with steps if you want a way up to it.
How does it fix to the wall, and what weight will it take?
It mounts to the wall with the included screws through the holes in the wall plate. Into brick or block, use standard wall plugs. Into plasterboard, screw into a stud where you can, or use heavy-duty plasterboard anchors rated to 15kg or more. It is designed for adult cats of around 3 to 6kg; for a heavier cat, fix into a stud or masonry.
Does it stand on the floor?
No. The whole piece is wall mounted, so the floor underneath stays clear.
How do I keep it clean?
Lift loose fur off the canvas with a damp cloth or a lint roller, and wipe the wooden frame with a barely damp cloth.
