A cat hammock that earns its place as wall decor. A cream canvas sling, 51cm wide and 34cm deep, hangs on pale pine rails, and a hand-knotted macrame fringe runs 5cm deep along the front edge. The fringe is what people notice first, so the piece reads as natural texture on the wall rather than pet kit. Underneath it, the cat gets a soft sling to sink into.

Fitting and weight guidance
- In the box: the piece, mounting screws and a fitting diagram. Wall plugs for your wall type are not included.
- Solid walls (brick or block): drill 6mm, fit standard wall plugs, drive the included screws through every hole in the wall plate.
- Plasterboard: screw into a timber stud wherever you can (use a stud finder). Where there is no stud behind the fixing, use heavy-duty plasterboard anchors rated to 15kg or more per fixing, such as metal self-drill or toggle anchors.
- Weight: designed for adult domestic cats, typically 3 to 6kg. For cats over 7kg, or for any piece a cat will land on from a jump, fix into a stud or masonry rather than plasterboard alone.
- Use a spirit level, and check every fixing is tight before the first climb.
Will it fit?
- Your wall: check the width along the wall and how far the piece sticks out (under Specifications) against the clear space you have.
- Spacing: about 30cm between steps suits most adult cats; go closer for kittens and older cats.
- Wall type: 6mm plugs for brick or block, a stud or heavy-duty anchors for plasterboard.
- Your cat: designed for adult cats of 3 to 6kg; over 7kg, fix into a stud or masonry.

Soft sling, settled cat
The canvas gives as the cat lies down, cradling them at 51cm wide and 34cm deep. The macrame fringe swings just below, which most cats treat as part of the appeal.
Made for a natural-textures room
Knotted macrame and pale pine sit naturally beside linen, rattan and dried stems. It is the Castle Catalogue piece to choose if your room already leans boho.
Knotted by hand along the front
The 5cm fringe is hand-knotted and runs the full front edge of the sling, so the hammock has a finished line rather than a raw hem. Cream canvas and pale pine keep the rest of it plain.

Made to live with, not just look at.
Every piece in the Castle Catalogue range is chosen for how it behaves in a real room. Honest materials, quiet colour and shapes that still work when the seasons change.
We keep the range tight on purpose, so you are choosing between a few good options rather than scrolling through thousands.
Frequently Asked Questions
How big is the hammock?
The canvas sling is 51cm wide and 34cm deep, which suits an adult cat curled up or lying out. The 5cm macrame fringe hangs below the front edge and does not reduce the space your cat has.
What is the fringe made from?
It is macrame, knotted by hand and finished 5cm deep along the front edge of the sling. The sling itself is cream canvas and the rails are pale pine.
How does it fix to the wall, and what weight will it take?
It mounts to the wall with the included screws through the holes in the wall plate. Into brick or block, use standard wall plugs. Into plasterboard, screw into a stud where you can, or use heavy-duty plasterboard anchors rated to 15kg or more. It is designed for adult cats of around 3 to 6kg; for a heavier cat, fix into a stud or masonry.
Will my cat pull at the macrame?
The fringe is hand-knotted rather than loosely hung, so it holds its shape in normal use. It sits below the front edge, away from where a cat settles.
How do I clean it?
Brush the canvas and the fringe through to lift loose hair, then spot clean marks with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Comb the macrame straight with your fingers and let it dry fully.
