A lounger shaped the way a cat actually lies. The pale pine cradle is gently curved, 48cm wide and 30cm deep, with a rise of about 10cm from the middle to the ends. A soft cream cushion sits inside the curve, and a round pale pine disc closes each end. It is the most affordable lounging piece in the range and the warmest looking, cream rather than grey.

Fitting and weight guidance
- In the box: the piece, mounting screws and a fitting diagram. Wall plugs for your wall type are not included.
- Solid walls (brick or block): drill 6mm, fit standard wall plugs, drive the included screws through every hole in the wall plate.
- Plasterboard: screw into a timber stud wherever you can (use a stud finder). Where there is no stud behind the fixing, use heavy-duty plasterboard anchors rated to 15kg or more per fixing, such as metal self-drill or toggle anchors.
- Weight: designed for adult domestic cats, typically 3 to 6kg. For cats over 7kg, or for any piece a cat will land on from a jump, fix into a stud or masonry rather than plasterboard alone.
- Use a spirit level, and check every fixing is tight before the first climb.
Will it fit?
- Your wall: check the width along the wall and how far the piece sticks out (under Specifications) against the clear space you have.
- Spacing: about 30cm between steps suits most adult cats; go closer for kittens and older cats.
- Wall type: 6mm plugs for brick or block, a stud or heavy-duty anchors for plasterboard.
- Your cat: designed for adult cats of 3 to 6kg; over 7kg, fix into a stud or masonry.

The curve does the work
A cat drops into the dip of the cradle and the sides rise about 10cm around them. At 48cm wide and 30cm deep there is room to stretch along the curve or tuck into the middle.
Cream and pine, not grey felt
The cushion is cream rather than grey, which keeps the whole piece warm against pale pine. A Castle Catalogue lounger for rooms already working in soft neutral tones.
Two discs and a curve
A round pale pine disc caps each end of the cradle, which is the detail that sets this lounger apart from a plain shelf. The curve is gentle and the cushion drops straight into it.

Made to live with, not just look at.
Every piece in the Castle Catalogue range is chosen for how it behaves in a real room. Honest materials, quiet colour and shapes that still work when the seasons change.
We keep the range tight on purpose, so you are choosing between a few good options rather than scrolling through thousands.
Frequently Asked Questions
How big is the lounger?
The cradle is 48cm wide and 30cm deep, which suits an adult cat lying along the curve. The sides rise about 10cm, so your cat is held rather than perched flat.
What is it made from?
A gently curved cradle in pale pine with a round pine disc at each end, and a soft cream cushion sitting inside the curve.
How does it fix to the wall, and what weight will it take?
It mounts to the wall with the included screws through the holes in the wall plate. Into brick or block, use standard wall plugs. Into plasterboard, screw into a stud where you can, or use heavy-duty plasterboard anchors rated to 15kg or more. It is designed for adult cats of around 3 to 6kg; for a heavier cat, fix into a stud or masonry.
Why a curve instead of a flat shelf?
Cats settle more readily where something rises around them. The 10cm rise gives that contact on both sides while leaving the view across the room open.
Can the cushion be cleaned?
Brush it through regularly to lift loose hair and spot clean any marks with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Let the cushion dry fully before it goes back into the curve.
