A proper bed, up on the wall. The oval nest is 38.5cm across and upholstered in cream sherpa fleece, with a thick padded rim running the whole way round. That raised bolster edge is what settles a cat, something to curl against rather than a flat surface to balance on. It sits on a pale pine platform carried by a solid pale pine wall bracket, 12.6cm high and 11.5cm deep.

Fitting and weight guidance
- In the box: the piece, mounting screws and a fitting diagram. Wall plugs for your wall type are not included.
- Solid walls (brick or block): drill 6mm, fit standard wall plugs, drive the included screws through every hole in the wall plate.
- Plasterboard: screw into a timber stud wherever you can (use a stud finder). Where there is no stud behind the fixing, use heavy-duty plasterboard anchors rated to 15kg or more per fixing, such as metal self-drill or toggle anchors.
- Weight: designed for adult domestic cats, typically 3 to 6kg. For cats over 7kg, or for any piece a cat will land on from a jump, fix into a stud or masonry rather than plasterboard alone.
- Use a spirit level, and check every fixing is tight before the first climb.
Will it fit?
- Your wall: check the width along the wall and how far the piece sticks out (under Specifications) against the clear space you have.
- Spacing: about 30cm between steps suits most adult cats; go closer for kittens and older cats.
- Wall type: 6mm plugs for brick or block, a stud or heavy-duty anchors for plasterboard.
- Your cat: designed for adult cats of 3 to 6kg; over 7kg, fix into a stud or masonry.

Curled up, not perched
The thick bolster rim gives a cat something to press against, which is what turns a nap into proper sleep. At 38.5cm across, the oval takes an adult cat curled tight or stretched along the side.
Soft without looking like pet kit
Cream sherpa against pale pine reads as a cushion on a shelf rather than a plastic pod. It is the softest thing Castle Catalogue makes and still suits a calm, neutral room.
Held on solid pine
The bed sits on a pale pine platform carried by a solid pine bracket, 12.6cm high and 11.5cm deep. Everything under the fleece is timber, so the nest is held flat and level.

Made to live with, not just look at.
Every piece in the Castle Catalogue range is chosen for how it behaves in a real room. Honest materials, quiet colour and shapes that still work when the seasons change.
We keep the range tight on purpose, so you are choosing between a few good options rather than scrolling through thousands.
Frequently Asked Questions
How big is the bed?
The oval nest measures 38.5cm across, which suits an adult cat curled up or lying along the padded rim.
What is the bed made from?
Cream sherpa fleece over a deep oval bolster with a thick padded rim, on a pale pine platform and a solid pale pine wall bracket.
How does it fix to the wall, and what weight will it take?
It mounts to the wall with the included screws through the holes in the wall plate. Into brick or block, use standard wall plugs. Into plasterboard, screw into a stud where you can, or use heavy-duty plasterboard anchors rated to 15kg or more. It is designed for adult cats of around 3 to 6kg; for a heavier cat, fix into a stud or masonry.
Why a bed on the wall rather than the floor?
Cats sleep more soundly off the ground and away from foot traffic. Height and a raised rim together are a combination most cats settle into quickly.
How do I clean the fleece?
Brush the sherpa fleece to lift hair, then spot clean with a damp cloth and let it dry fully before your cat uses it again.
