A curved line across the wall that a cat can walk. The timber ribbon spans 70cm in total, curving and dipping between two round pale pine wall discs 17.8cm across. The dip is the point, it makes a cat slow down and balance instead of running the span. At one end a flat 25.5cm pale pine step platform gives a level place to start or finish the crossing.

Fitting and weight guidance
- In the box: the piece, mounting screws and a fitting diagram. Wall plugs for your wall type are not included.
- Solid walls (brick or block): drill 6mm, fit standard wall plugs, drive the included screws through every hole in the wall plate.
- Plasterboard: screw into a timber stud wherever you can (use a stud finder). Where there is no stud behind the fixing, use heavy-duty plasterboard anchors rated to 15kg or more per fixing, such as metal self-drill or toggle anchors.
- Weight: designed for adult domestic cats, typically 3 to 6kg. For cats over 7kg, or for any piece a cat will land on from a jump, fix into a stud or masonry rather than plasterboard alone.
- Use a spirit level, and check every fixing is tight before the first climb.
Will it fit?
- Your wall: check the width along the wall and how far the piece sticks out (under Specifications) against the clear space you have.
- Spacing: about 30cm between steps suits most adult cats; go closer for kittens and older cats.
- Wall type: 6mm plugs for brick or block, a stud or heavy-duty anchors for plasterboard.
- Your cat: designed for adult cats of 3 to 6kg; over 7kg, fix into a stud or masonry.

The crossing
A cat steps off the 25.5cm platform and takes the ribbon slowly, because the dip rewards balance rather than speed. Seventy centimetres is a crossing worth making, not a single step.
A curve, not a shelf
Two round discs and a curved timber ribbon read as a line drawn on the wall. Castle Catalogue keeps it all in the same pale pine, so it looks considered above a sofa or along a hallway.
Shaped timber, held at two points
The ribbon is narrow and shaped through its curve, carried on two round pale pine discs 17.8cm across. The step at one end is flat pale pine, 25.5cm, cut to match the rest.

Made to live with, not just look at.
Every piece in the Castle Catalogue range is chosen for how it behaves in a real room. Honest materials, quiet colour and shapes that still work when the seasons change.
We keep the range tight on purpose, so you are choosing between a few good options rather than scrolling through thousands.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long is the bridge?
It spans 70cm in total, measured across the curve between the two round wall discs. That is enough distance to give a cat a genuine crossing between fittings.
What is it made from?
Pale pine throughout. The curved ribbon, the two round 17.8cm wall discs and the 25.5cm step platform are all the same pale timber.
How does it fix to the wall, and what weight will it take?
It mounts to the wall with the included screws through the holes in the wall plate. Into brick or block, use standard wall plugs. Into plasterboard, screw into a stud where you can, or use heavy-duty plasterboard anchors rated to 15kg or more. It is designed for adult cats of around 3 to 6kg; for a heavier cat, fix into a stud or masonry.
Will a cat use a curved bridge?
Yes, and usually more carefully than a flat one. The dip slows the pace and asks for balance, which is exactly the kind of movement cats enjoy repeating.
How do I keep it clean?
Wipe the pine with a barely damp cloth and dry it straight away. The narrow ribbon has very little surface to collect dust.
