What height should I set it to?

As a rule of thumb the bowl rim should sit at roughly your dog's lower chest height, so they can eat with their neck level rather than stooped down or stretched up.

Will it tip if my dog pushes the bowl?

The bowls drop into recessed cut-outs so they cannot slide around, and the four legs splay slightly outward to widen the footprint against a determined nudge.

Are the bowls dishwasher safe?

Yes. Both stainless steel bowls lift straight out and go in the dishwasher. Wipe the frame with a damp cloth.

Does it need tools to change the height?

No. Press the catch on each leg and slide it to the notch you want. It takes a few seconds and no tools.
